Driver/Moving Helper

Requirements and Responsibilities for this position with Tropic Moving are listed below, but not limited to :

• Go out of your way to be friendly, polite and professional (smile, eye contact, small-talk) to everyone whom you come in contact with throughout the day – especially your clients.
• Educate clients about all pricing and services Tropic Moving Offers.
• Keep SAFETY in mind at all times.
• Ensure all daily truck inspections are performed (tire pressure, oil, equipment, etc) on Tropic Moving vehicals.
• Ensure the trucks have all supplies and materials necessary for the days work.
• Ability to make logistical decisions (when to dispose, what and how to price items to donate or recycle, how to best complete a job, how to package items and load a truck, how to market during downtime).
• Ability to lead your team by showing them what Tropic Moving expects.
• Help to train new hires about the day to day expectations from operations and core values of Tropic Moving.
• Complete daily checklists.
• Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy clients, lost equipment, etc.
• Check in regularly throughout the day with direct supervisor for additional assignments and troubleshooting guidance.
• MUST be eligible to work in the United States.
• MUST have transportation to work.
• MUST be able to consistently lift 75lbs throughout a workday.
• MUST enjoy hard work, world class customer service and helping others.

• MUST be drug and alcohol free.
• MUST be able to pass a federal background check.
• Excellent earning potential including hourly pay plus tips.
