Moving Tip #102: Label Items By Room

In addition to labeling whats in your boxes, it will be helpful to your moving team if you label by room as well. This will help your moving team be more efficient so that they wont have to check with you as often as to where boxes and furniture will go. A lot can fit one of our 26ft box trucks and each time a team member has to stop or redirect, the added time can be significant. Some customers like to color code with stickers so they can even label the furniture. It doesn’t matter exactly how they get labeled but just be sure to be consistent so your movers can easily understand your system. You won regret spending the extra time labeling boxes as it will save time an money for you in the end!
